JQH Arena opened in November 2008 on the Missouri State University campus to be home to both their men and women's NCAA basketball teams. JQH Arena has a maximum seating capacity of 11,000 and was built for a total construction cost of $67 million. The JQH Arena box office has hosted many headlining concerts. Some of the most popular JQH Arena tickets have included performers like The Eagles, Elton John, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Rascal Flats, and Larry the Cable Guy. The venue is named after John W. Hammons who made a huge donation to aid with construction.
